The reason I scrunched everything closer to the center is because on the original one, all the 2D tech stuff got in the way of my icons.

Good call on keeping it in the center I hate it when a good wallpaper is killed by fine lines, text, small round and square objects all around the edges making the icon titles unreadable (this is a huge problem in windows).
